Tim Magney

I stumbled across your blog while searching for information on running trails in Cape Town, South Africa. (I'm finishing up a round-the-world trip and am currently in Cape Town.) I didn't find the information I was looking for, but your blog turned out to be a great read. I am also a Portland native and marathon runner (4:08 in Portland last year, and planning to improve on that at the San Diego RnR next June) who also worked in IT until I left on this trip. And, I'm looking to do my first triathlon as well, so your "Getting Started" post was timely too.

Anyway, thanks for the inspiration and the little slice of home. Good luck at Seattle!

I came across your entry while searching for business-geared motivational speaches and ideas for consistency and I was really impressed with your story, it encouraged me to think of a lot of different ways to apply your story to our business and want other to keep perservering!
